Who We Are
-
We believe healing begins in a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. Our approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in meeting you exactly where you are—without judgment or pressure.
With a trauma-informed foundation and a deep respect for each individual’s story, we gently guide the process at your pace, helping you build insight, resilience, and meaningful connection in your life and relationships.
-
We are guided by compassion, grounded in respect, and committed to creating a space where every individual feels safe to explore, heal, and grow. Our work centers connection, honors each unique journey, and supports lasting, meaningful change.

My path to becoming a therapist began with my own healing journey. I discovered that I could change how I relate to myself and others—feeling less overwhelmed by the emotions and behaviors around me, and more rooted in a sense of inner steadiness. Through this work, I learned how to regulate my nervous system and reconnect with my inner wisdom. From that place, a deep calling emerged: to help others learn how to feel grounded, confident and at peace.
I created Willow Nest Counseling as a reflection of this work. Nature has always been the place that comforted and calmed me. The willow tree is known for its flexibility and resilience—it bends without breaking, adapting to life’s challenges while staying deeply rooted. The nest represents a place of safety, warmth, and care—a space where growth and healing can unfold at your own pace. Together, they represent the heart of my practice: supporting you in becoming both grounded and gently supported as you navigate change.
My role as a therapist is to help you find your voice, reconnect with your inner strength, and move away from patterns of over-accommodating others. I strive to create a space where you can feel safe enough to explore, process, and grow into a more aligned and fulfilling way of living.
With over 14 years of experience, I support individuals, couples, and families navigating communication challenges, trauma, grief, life transitions, chronic pain, illness, depression, anxiety, and mood-related concerns.
My approach is humanistic, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I integrate evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, IFS, EMDR, emotionally focused therapy, and art therapy—always tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals.
I am a Registered Art Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington and Oregon.
