Meet Ginger

Ginger Hemming is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Art Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor in Washington state. She provides counseling for children (ages 3 and up), teens, adults, couples, and families. Ginger has over 15 years of experience serving diverse communities in SW Washington. She has supported individuals facing a wide range of life challenges, with a particular emphasis on healing from trauma related to early experiences, domestic violence, and the emotional impact of caregiving or high-stress professions.

In her practice, Ginger offers a safe, calm, compassionate environment where clients can explore their stories, find their voice, and strengthen their relationships—with themselves and others. Her work is deeply client-centered, guided by each person’s own pace and needs in their healing journey. Ginger integrates evidence-based approaches such as:

  • EMDR

  • DBT

  • IFS

  • Solution Focused

  • Trauma-Informed CBT

  • Art therapy as a creative and empowering tool for expression and growth

Ginger offers supervision and consultation to interns and associate counselors. Ginger currently directly supervises Jamie Reed, LMHCI.
